Upgrades

Technical upgrades have been made to a number of products recently to ensure Ryco Filters continue to provide genuine performance high quality filters.
A1762 Design Change | |
 The new neck can be rotated 360 degrees so it is easier to slide through the locating groove in the housing. To properly secure the filter, slide the redesigned neck through the housing groove and align the neck flap vertically so it can be pushed through the groove. Once the flap is past the groove, twist so it is horizontal therefore keeping it secure under pressure. | |
R2632P now supplied with O-ring and washer | |
 Product Development has identified that the same R2632P element used for AUDI applications is being used in certain BMW diesel vehicles with the only difference being the type of O-ring used. To cover those vehicles the simplest solution was to include the extra O-ring and washer. | |
R2646P GASKET CHANGE | |
 The Ryco R2646P cartridge oil filter is now supplied with a gasket similar in design to the “original equipment style” gasket - with a flat face. This has come about with the removal of international patents on this particular gasket design. | |
Z711 & Z712 - Product Design Change | |
 Please be advised that the Ryco Z711 & Z712 Common Rail Fuel Filters are now supplied with the o-ring that fits onto the water sensing unit. | |
A1575 - Design Change | |
 The filter design of A1575 has been changed from a plastic frame with a rubber seal to an integrated moulded frame/seal. |

All current stock has an instruction sheet inside that will indicate on what applications to use each O-ring. The washer is simply the sump plug washer making no effect on the filter fitment. Suits: ALFA ROMEO 159 JTD; AUDI A4, A5, A6, A8, Q5 & Q7 Additional listings: BMW 120d E87, 320d E90 & 520d E60.
This makes the replacement of this gasket replacement easier. This rolling change is effective immediately to stock currently leaving the GUD warehouse. 
This rolling change is effective immediately to current stock leaving the GUD warehouse. The inclusion of the o-ring will assist the mechanic when fitting a new Z711 or Z712 fuel filter and eliminates the re-use of old and distorted o-rings that can cause leakage.
The quality of the filters continues to match Genuine Performance in the three critical areas of Efficiency, Life and Flow. New design filters are in stock. This change does not affect fitment and all applications remain as before.
