RYCO Hone in on User Experience for New and Updated App Release

The RYCO FILTERS app has made its return into the Australian market, and debuted in New Zealand with an impressive range of new and updated features, that have been developed on the back of comprehensive customer feedback on the previous platform, and attention to detail in the re-engineering process.

The new app was designed from the ground up, with heavy focus on the back end technology that collates and serves the data straight from the Ryco system; along with attentiveness to customer feedback, resulting in a core product that has a lot more hidden smarts to help users get fast and accurate results while delivering useful back end data that will help future updates. 

“We really concentrated on listening to our users”, said Marketing Communications Manager, Melissa Simpson “… and we found that mechanics and DIY enthusiasts alike were frustrated with the old product, and we’ve gone the extra mile to ensure that the new features deliver more functionality than previously”.

The launch of the new app is set to display a number of new, modern technological features that are sure to enhance the user’s experience, such as live daily updates, a swiping feature to toggle between screens, more refined search options, and a new alpha key pad to select a model. This personalised version of the app also allows the user to log in, create an account and begin saving favourite searches and part numbers of x-references, along with the ability to immediately log a technical issue or bug directly to the Help and Support section.

Users are able to ask a question via live Webchat with the customer service team from 10am to 4pm weekdays, once again highlighting Ryco’s uncompromising commitment to customer service. This feature has been successfully been trialed on our website with customers loving the quick and interactive format” says Melissa.

“We’re really excited to release this product” said Melissa Simpson, “… because it’s one that meets with the expectation that our filter fans have of Ryco – a quality product that enhances their work”.

The new range of features are extensive to say the least, however Melissa Simpson was already looking to the future and what could come next for the app. “We have so many more additional features we want to add” said Melissa “… but it was important to get the new app out there so our customers can get back to enjoying a quality Ryco Filters product!”
