Kiwi ‘filter fans’ may have noticed that the Ryco Filters New Zealand website has been brought into the year 2016 with a new look, improved functionality and a heap of new features similar to an engine overhaul.
This is no superficial update but a new platform and a cleansed data feed that is delivering the most comprehensive filtration information source in the country from the brand that is most trusted and supported by the trade.
“The upgrade is the result of some major work behind the scenes with the product development team reviewing hundreds of thousands of lines of data to enable the website to seamlessly transmit valuable accurate information from the site,” said Ryco Marketing Manager Melissa Simpson. “It comes with the added benefit of the website data being updated every night, publishing up to the minute data the Product Managers have been working on during the day,” she said.
The refurbished website now delivers enhanced functionality and a faster user experience that is a free ‘go-to’ resource for the trade for additional information. More technical information is now available in different forms and areas within the new site. A Ryco TV tab opens up video content, technical tips and access to new filter and product information and for the DIY’ers a ‘Where to Buy’ tab provides direction to the nearest Ryco stockist. Under a ‘Contact’ tab visitors to the site can also subscribe to the regular Ryco Newsletter ‘Club Red’ which contains additional updates and information on the Ryco range.
The original feature enabling application data to be sorted in ascending or descending order of each column has been further enhanced with the addition of a ‘hover over’ feature which opens up extra filter and engine code information.
“Upgrades to the new site are on-going and we are currently working on the next data enhancements that will add to the filter identification process and this will be rolled out in coming months. We are also pushing our ERP and catalogue systems to integrate more ‘IT Smarts’ and automate processes undertaken by our Product Managers given the high number of filters released each month,” said Melissa.
“Because this is such a vast leap from our previous site with more information and content, we recommend that visitors take time to navigate their way through and that they will enjoy the functionality and Ryco Filters experience,” she said.
Some older versions of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) are no longer supported by Microsoft and to provide the most optimised website experience it is recommended that it should be Version 8 or upgrade to newer browsers such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
